FloorGauge aims to publish information that is accurate at the time it is written and to keep it current as products, methods and standards change.

Reporting an error

Use the contact page to tell us the page, the statement you believe is incorrect, and where possible the source or manufacturer instruction that supports the correction.

How we handle reports

• We review the report against manufacturer instructions and published standards
• Clear factual errors are corrected on the page
• Where a change materially affects guidance or a calculator result, we note it
• Where a topic is genuinely open to interpretation, we say so rather than pick a side

Scope

This policy covers factual accuracy of published information. It does not make FloorGauge a substitute for an on-site assessment, manufacturer instructions or local building code, which always take precedence.
